Aloha, Ulupono Charter Chapter members and friends,
Our special day for celebrating ABWA in Hawaii is soon near.
On Saturday, September 17, 2011, we will anticipate our Annual ABWA Joint Chapters 2011 Meeting at 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. This year we will be featuring our new National annual theme, "Share The Past, Build The Future" by celebrating our accomplishments and the year to come with our ABWA network and our next generation of leaders in Hawaii's women's business community. Together we honor the new as we inspire, motivate, and retain our members of old who share and take part in the rich legacy of ABWA here in Hawaii.
This year marks our safe and peaceful return to academia for honoring our historic value for scholarship. This year at UH Manoa, we are remembering our roots and are honoring our Stephen E. Bufton Memorial Fund, as we return to academia where we are focused on developing our future leaders in business, all in part of responding to the current global and state challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in our post-recession for our state economy and the global marketplace.
Through academia, we are developing our future leaders that will continue to be shaped by each organization's purpose and objectives, as well as trends specific to each industry. Tomorrow's leaders need to be prepared to respond to the increased competition, heightened expectations for social and environmental stewardship, new customer demographics, a shrinking and changing workforce, and rapidly advancing technology.
Please make a concerted effort to join us this year for our Annual ABWA Joint Chapters 2011 Meeting in the Campus Center Ballroom at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
